Five snared foxes dumped in canal
02 April 2012
Five dead foxes were found dumped in the canal on the Northolt border following a spate of animals being snared inhumanely.
The wild animals were found floating in the waterway which runs alongside the slip road leading to the Polish War Memorial in West End Road on the border with Northolt and Hillingdon.
The RSPCA is appealing for any information about the incident.
RSPCA Inspector Nicole Broster, who retrieved the bodies on Thursday last week (29), said: "We are not sure how they died but there has been a worrying spate of incidents in the area in which foxes have been snared incorrectly and inhumanely.
"I would appeal to anyone who has information about how these foxes died and who dumped them in the canal to ring the RSPCA's cruelty line."
