Defra’s new snares code of practice condemned

DEFRA’s “Snares Working Group” has come up a code of practice that only shooting interests could welcome. This group, which comprised mainly of shooting interests, and a few others who have been so ashamed of their involvement, that it has been often impossible to communicate with them. The new code does not even pretend to tackle the surface of snare cruelty. The NASC will issue a comprehensive exposure of both the “working group” and their report in a few weeks.
